Even as a US House Candidate, I felt at home with all of my construction colleagues. While there, it dawned on me that I am trying to do the same job as a representative as I did in our business, provide people the tools and materials needed to build healthy stable lives for their families and generations to come.

Sturgis, SD – Lawrence County LDD

The Lawrence County Republican Party put on a great event.  Nothing like steak tips in Sturgis! Not to mention the great comic relief provided by Meade County Chair Ross Lamphere.

Pierre, SD – Teen Age Republican Days

We spent the day at the State Capitol with the SD TAR’s. What can I say…so many bright, young and energetic kids. Needless to say I am impressed with our future!

Brookings, SD – Brooking LDD

The Brookings County Lincoln Day Dinner was an overwhelming success.  The local folks should be proud of the great representation at this event. It was the first event that our campaign manager got to hear me speak. I think it went OK, since he is still with us!

Hot Springs, SD – Fall River/Custer County LDD

I knew this night that I was officially on the campaign trail while riding on the bus with the Custer County Republicans from Custer to Hot Springs during a blizzard.  What an adventure!  The excitement went on from there, followed by a gracious welcome from the Fall River and Custer County Republicans.

Pierre, SD – On the Ballot

March 25th was an exciting day.  With the support and enthusiasm from people all over the state, we turned in over 3000 signatures and officially made it on the ballot!
